Counsellor in East Midlands & Online

About Me

I am a qualified counsellor based in the East Midlands and a member of professional counselling bodies NCPS and BACP. As an autistic therapist, I have extensive training in autism and all things neurodivergent, and a large body of my work involves supporting neurodivergent clients and those close to them.

I have been working with adults and young people for over twenty years within educational and residential settings. Before my time as a counsellor, I worked as an art teacher and bring these creative skills to my practice today. This background helps me work with people in different ways - sometimes we talk, sometimes we might use creative approaches, and always we work at a pace that feels right for you.

I work integratively using a modern approach of psychoanalytical therapy, transactional analysis and Jungian methodology. I have also been trained by Jamie Rose and Phil Stutz to use The Tools methods of therapy. This means I can draw from different approaches to find what works best for each person I work with.

I currently work in different educational settings, supporting young people from Year 2 to Year 13, as well as all staff. I also have a private practice offering support to young people and adults alike. Whether you're coming to see me privately, through your school, or as a parent seeking support for your family, my approach remains the same - using the latest scientific research and educational guidelines to best support you throughout our sessions.

Wondering if we might be a good fit? I offer a free consultation where we can have a chat about what you're looking for.
