I work integratively, which means I draw from different therapeutic methods to find what works best for each person. Everyone is different, so the way we work together will be tailored to you.
My background includes:
Psychoanalytical therapy - exploring patterns and understanding how past experiences might be affecting you now
The Tools Method - a modern approach developed by Phil Stutz, based on Jungian techniques, which I've been trained in by Jamie Rose
Transactional Analysis - understanding how we communicate and relate to others
Creative approaches - drawing on my background as an art teacher when it feels helpful. This can include getting out in nature, such as to the park, playing football, or fishing.
This integrative approach means we can work in whatever way feels most comfortable and effective for you, whether that's talking, using creative methods, or practical techniques.
I work with children and young people from Year 2 through to Year 13 (ages 7-18). This can be arranged privately by parents, or through educational settings.
For young people, I always ensure we have proper consent from parents or primary carers, and I work closely with families to provide the best possible support. Sessions can take place in schools, at home, online, or in my practice - whatever works best for the young person and their family.
I have particular experience supporting neurodivergent young people and those who may be struggling with school, anxiety, or life transitions.

I work with adults on a wide range of issues, particularly supporting neurodivergent individuals and those exploring whether they might be neurodivergent. Sessions are available face-to-face, online, or by telephone, and I can also arrange home visits when needed.
Common areas I support with include anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and understanding neurodivergence. Each person's journey is unique, and we'll work at a pace that feels right for you.
I work with schools, colleges, and other educational settings nationwide to provide counselling support for both students and staff. This includes mainstream schools, SEND schools, and pupil referral units.
For schools offering regular support: If you can guarantee 5 clients per day, I offer reduced rates to make ongoing support more accessible.
I also provide training for staff on neurodivergence, autism awareness, and supporting young people's mental health, working closely with SENCOs, senior leadership teams and outside agencies. As I often say, my natural language is neurodivergent but I am fluent in neurotypical - this means I can bridge understanding between different ways of thinking and communicating, helping create more inclusive environments for everyone.
